December 2009
Highlights of 2009
Following da trend!
1) Getting inked - twice.
2) Starting University, and all the memories I’ve had because of it. Wetherspoons, gigs and the photobooth in Rough Trade!
3) Aberdeen and Dundee. :)
4) Visiting Manchester twice, and everything that happened in Preston… and meeting Peter Andre!
5) Talking with Robb Flynn, epic dude!
6) Bumping into Herman Li and having a go at him...
Two wishes...
1) Interview questions for Lostprophets would write themselves, and I’m also previewing the Betrayed next week. D: Need prep.
2) Wish my tattoo would heal faster.
I am eternally convinced I got into BA Music...
Sorry to disappoint.
Merry Christmas
Thanks to those who have made this year memorable, they know who they are. Whether it’s travelling to Aberdeen, Bournemouth or simply hanging out with me and collecting memories. Bring on 2010, I say. It’s only up from here. Merry Christmas to all my followers too, you’re all amazing.

Bullets for your brain today, but we'll forget it...
I hope this song starts a craze, the kinda song...
cottoncrush’s post got me thinking about my own Christmas schedule! It’s going to be pretty full! 16th Dec - Donate blood. 18th Dec - Uni over ‘til January. 19th Dec - Becky comes from Derby and we go see Dan play his acoustic set and go get relatively hammered. 20th Dec - I see her off and then go to dinner with my old college mates. 22nd Dec - I have a Christmas party which I...
2009...
… has delivered epically.
Been to Manchester, Glasgow, Stoke, Birmingham, Derby, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dundee, Preston and Bournemouth!
I started Uni, turned up to a lecture drunk, redecorated flower beds in Worcester Park, VIP-ed it up, got inked, met Herman Li, Scott Ian and Robb Flynn, met Gym Class Heroes and Simple Plan, hung out on Elliot Minor’s AMAZING double decker tour bus...
Inked
I get my new tattoos 28th December. Best Christmas present ever? I think so.
Seven things I hope happens to music in 2010:
1. Shit indie bands die out. Indie is very much over, in my mind. There are way too many minimalistic, boring, bland indie bands out there, and then stupid magazines hype them, which leads me to my next point… 2. NME collapses under their own pretentiousness. NME used to be a brilliant magazine, but it’s eaten itself entirely. It’s actually so pretentious, and in an attempt to...
"Kathy, I'm lost,"
I said, though I knew she was sleeping I’m empty and aching and I don’t know why counting the cars on the New Jersey Turnpike they’ve all gone to look for America.
Stuff that happened last week
Scotland was amazing! Aberdeen is fucking cold, but actually full of dead nice people. Guess they gotta do something to make up for being such a boring fucking town (village?). I’m a Londoner, I’m used to everything being large scale. Had to take Gary to Starbucks though, mennnn! We were standing outside when Dan headed to the bus in SHORTS. I swear, it was minus degrees. I’ll...
