Derek needs a Good Will Hunting moment where someone tells him IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT in reference to everything that’s ever happened in his life

question, do you think that derek bit her on purpose or just reflexes of the wolf. Like I mean he could have kicked, clawed, head butted, or a variety of combat moves, but he chose a bite…a bite.

Victoria? I think it was on purpose, but then Chris mentions that it’s not deep, and it looks like a fairly shoddy bite compared to the ones he gave his betas. I can’t imagine why he’d do it on purpose though, there’s simply no way the Argents were going to let it go easily. It was either going to kill her or turn her, moving Derek (and, by extension, his pack) up as their number one either way. Perhaps to distract then from the Kanima so they can try and plan without the Hunters getting in the way? Because Derek’s a born werewolf, I think he can control himself and the instinct, so in my head, it would make sense that the bite was likely to be on purpose, I just don’t understand why. Though perhaps it was instinct, a reaction to almost losing one of his pack? It’s hard to tell, because Derek can be morally grey at the best of times. And this rant has not at all answered your question to me. Oops. But maybe Victoria is one of the few things he IS responsible for, maybe as pay back, maybe as a distraction.
